Made in the late 1970's was a cassette tape labeled "Sounds of Grocery Stores". It's cheery tunes were designed to entice listeners to buy more products at the store. These subliminal messages were used as a marketing method for grocery stores around the US.
This is a concept album where I got the idea to use some of the songs to create the opposite effect of what they were intended to do. With eerie chimes that echo like inside of an empty store, this album shows the hollowness of consumerism in the 70s.
